Dr Schneider bio
Dennis Ray Schneider, PhD., has spent his career solving environmental problems around the world. His work as Vice President and Director of Research & Development with Micro-Bac International, Inc., a “green” company long before the word became politically correct, has taken him to places all over Europe, the Middle East, Kazakhstan, Russia, South America, Kuwait, China and other remote places around the world. Micro-Bac International, Inc. is dedicated to the research and development, as well as manufacturing of natural, biotechnological solutions with a conscience. Micro-Bac specializes in Oil Spill cleanup, Oil Well Stimulation, Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery, Paraffin and Scale Control, and Frac Damage Repair; Bioremediation and Wastewater issues. Micro-Bac products are 100% safe that the Environmental Protection Agency chooses not to monitor the products.
When not working as an executive in environmental biotechnology, he has lectured as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Microbiology at UT-Austin since 1986. He has taught courses in biotechnology, introductory microbiology, microbial biochemistry and physiology as well as microbial ecology. Dr. Schneider received his BS in Microbiology and his PhD in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin. He has written numerous technical papers. He is an avid scuba diver, a member of MENSA, and is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World. He was honored with the distinction as one of most “Outstanding People of the 20th Century for outstanding contributions to Biotechnology & Microbiology" by the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England.
