General Description

Mega-Bac C is a proprietary combination of biologicals and biochemicals used to accelerate biodegradation of wastes generated through the processing of acidic fruits and vegetables. This product was developed specifically for treatment of waste streams at facilities processing oranges, lemons, other citrus fruits, strawberries, tomatoes, guavas and other acidic fruits and vegetables. The metabolic processes of Mega- Bac C produce enzymes that break down wastes, thereby reducing the important wastewater parameters of BOD, COD and TSS, with undiminished activity at pH values as low as 2. Mega-Bac C comes as a ready-to-use liquid formulation.

Dosage

Micro-Bac's technical staff can provide dosage recommendations based on the design and volume requirements of the system to be treated.

Application

Mega-Bac C can be applied manually or by feed pumps. Mega-Bac C performs within a pH range of 2 to 7. The temperature range for treatment with Mega-Bac C is 50°F to 110°F (10°C to 45°C).

Handling and Safety

Mega-Bac C is a natural, non-pathogenic, non-engineered biological product that meets EPA requirements for release into the environment and is approved for use in facilities regulated by the USDA. Special clothing or equipment are not required for handling. Mega-Bac C. Routine hygiene should be observed.

Shipping

Mega-Bac C is shipped in 2 sizes: in 5- gallon containers (45 lbs), and in 55-gallon containers (495 lbs), F.O.B. Round Rock, Texas.
