Mega-Bac B™

Biological Waste Digestent

General Description

Mega-Bac B® is a proprietary combination of biologicals and biochemicals used to

accelerate biodegradation of wastes generated through brewing and fermentation

processes. Two versions of this product were developed specifically for treatment of

waste streams at breweries and wineries.

Mega-Bac B1® was developed for use in aerobic waste streams, and Mega-Bac B2®

was developed for use in anaerobic waste streams. The metabolic processes of these

products produce enzymes that break down wastes, thereby reducing the important

wastewater parameters of BOD, COD and TSS, with undiminished activity in the presence

of alcohols, extracts of yeast and hops, and low concentrations of nitrogen

and phosphate. Mega-Bac B1® and B2® both come as ready-to-use liquid formulations.

Product Formula
Mega-Bac B® includes multiple strains of facultative
bacteria. These bacteria remain active
in aerobic or anaerobic conditions.
