General Description

Mega-Bac LT is a proprietary combination of specially-selected, microbials used to accelerate biodegradation of tannery wastes. It is effective on unsaturated fat, oil, protein, and other biologically-derived waste. The metabolic processes of Mega-Bac LT bacteria produce enzymes that break down targeted wastes. Mega-Bac LT comes as a ready-touse liquid formulation.

Dosage

Micro-Bac's technical staff can provide dosage recommendations based on the design and volume requirements of the system to be treated.

Application

Mega-Bac LT can be applied manually or by feed pumps. Mega-Bac LT performs within a pH range of 5 to 9, with best activity at a pH of 7. The temperature range for treatment with Mega-Bac LT is 50°F to 110°F (10°C to 45°C).

Handling and Safety

Mega-Bac LT is a, non-pathogenic, nonengineered biological product that meets EPA requirements for release into the environment. Special clothing or equipment are not required for handling Mega-Bac LT. Routine hygiene should be observed.

Shipping

Mega-Bac LT is shipped in 5-gallon containers (45 lbs), and in 55-gallon containers (495 lbs), F.O.B. Round Rock, Texas.
